Piece Photoshoot
Building box
Ch-ch-ch-changes
Having only one power supply wasn’t working, the water bomb was browning out, so a decision of having two fixed the problem.
Painting
I created the 3 pieces of the sculpture using sculpy and painted them with conductive paint, making sure there are several layers in there so I can connect them to my sensor and arduino.
Building
With everything tested, I began the building of the electronics.

Touch capacitive sensor
Using a touch sensor, we were able to use the conductive paint and start using it as an area that can register when someone touches it. Here are the successful tests made for that.
Conductive Paint
I found out about conductive paint, which contains small particles of copper and becomes a good way to take my illustration and transform them into something interactive. Testing the conductivity made me find out that it does takes a good amount of paint for it to work, and thin lines are not an option.
Entrainment
I found this concept a couple of days ago: “Entrainment is an important characteristic of interactions between brain rhythms and refers to the coupling of two independent oscillatory systems in such a way that their periods of oscillation become related by virtue of phase alignment (Cummins, 2009).” And it makes me think how this couldContinue reading “Entrainment”
